My name's Brandon and I've lived in Cincy all my life. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in '07 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology and a minor in Computer Science. In the winter I can be found at Perfect North snowboarding, I spend a lot of time playing Frisbee golf in the summer, and when I walk into a bar the first place I go is the pool table. I've got a dog, so when there's nothing to do, he and I go for walks or hang out at home and watch a movie. (He won't admit it, but he's a sucker for chick flicks. Makes me watch 'em all the time). I'm a bit of a movie buff, I guess that's a result of working at Blockbuster during college, but whenever friends have a movie question or quote they're trying to remember, they come to me. I can find some appreciation in just about any movie, with a few exceptions (ugh... Wolverine Origins...), but one I'm particularly fond of is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. While I haven’t had much time to read lately, I do have a handful of authors that I try to keep up to date on. I'm a big Dan Brown fan. Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk, and H.P. Lovecraft are all on my bookshelf. It's hard for me to pass up a good graphic novel, too, but there's so few good ones out there that I rarely come across one that I find worth reading. When I'm mellowed down and hanging out at home, or in a more private setting with friends, more philosophical discussions come up, such as religion, politics, etc. No sense in learning all that crap in college if you're not going to put it to use! Personally, I’ve always felt that the typical taboo associated with discussing politics and religion hinders the development of society. When people of different beliefs and ideas can sit together and discuss or debate with one another calmly and logically, both parties leave better for it.
